Event description
Join us for the ever-popular Blackhawk Vintage Classic. Enjoy plenty of track time on the exciting 1.9 mile course. Friday practice is available to learn the track or hone your racing line. Small bore cars and Vintage Vees will have their own races. In addition to a full slate of races, we have children’s activities, lunch time touring and a Saturday evening dinner. The track is fully staffed with corner and emergency personal. Camping, concessions, showers, race gas and air are readily available.  Blackhawk’s track is a blast!
The 1.9 mile asphalt road course provides for some intense dicing but is straightforward enough to make it a good course to improve racing skills for newer drivers.
Track time aplenty
Over 14 hours total combined track time Saturday & Sunday. An additional 5 1/2 hours of optional track time are available Friday.
A full menu of race sessions
The weekend features Sprint Grid Races, a Vintage Vee Series race, the Small Bore Gran Prix, practices and warm-ups, feature races and Handicap Race.
Not a racer yet? Here is your opportunity to take to the track!
There will be lunch-time touring for those who want to get the feel of driving the track at a safe speed. No previous experience required, and you can drive your street car.
Mid-summer weather
The Blackhawk Classic typically features beautiful weather for racing, working or spectating. What better way to enjoy it!
Saturday evening festivities
There will be a catered evening buffet dinner and beverages provided in the track's Paddock Pavilion. This is the perfect setting to review the races, and to meet old and new friends. Let everyone know how fast you were (or will be)!
Kids are welcome! Make it a family weekend.
There will be planned children's activities in the Pavilion.
VSCDA-wear wearing thin? Time to replenish!

Safety first
The event is fully staffed by well-trained course workers. There will be state licensed medical staff with multiple ambulances onsite for driver safety.
Relaxed club atmosphere
One of the great joys of the Blackhawk Vintage Classic. The smaller track size makes for a close community. Visit with fellow racers, workers, family and friends. Tour the paddock to see all the fine vintage cars. Kids meet kids. Renew relationships with those you don’t often get to see.
Camp out
Camping is available at the track and is popular, so help create a Blackhawk tent (or camper) city. Showers too! Summer is short — enjoy it to the fullest.
Supplies and some luxuries to boot
The concession stand and gift shop in the paddock will supply you with all the necessities. Some racing supplies included.
Racing amenities
Racing fuel, air and water are available in the paddock, never far from where you are.
