For sale: Beach Mk 4B sports racer, 1965, serial number 100
This is the SCCA southwestern division champion of 1966 by Hugh Grammer. The car is extensively chronicled by Nick England on his Beach website. The car has been completely restored a number of years ago and over this past winter been thoroughly redone by RP Mack motorsports in Springlake, MI. It has been fitted with new master cylinders for the brake system, fresh brake fluid, newly machined wheel studs and lug nuts, brand new, unused Avon hand cut slicks, a new shifter gate ensuring flawless, positive shifting. The engine is a new Ford cross-flow. It’s a crate motor right out of the box and can be modified extensively. It has a high flow oil pump and oil cooler. Many after market parts are available. The transaxle is a Porsche unit. Both the engine and transmission have been removed from the car, thoroughly inspected and reinstalled by Ron Mack. Seals were replaced on the transmission. The car weighs 975 pounds with an excellent even weight distribution on all four corners. All of the suspension parts were magnafluxed and re-coated in the previous restoration. The car has had no race time since. It has had a few track sessions and runs great. Asking $39,500. Gus Meyjes, 231-920-8949 or .

For sale: Zink C4 2008 VIR Gold Cup Winner
My 1968 Zink C4 vintage FV is for sale. I have just bought a Zink CF, so this one has to go. I won overall in Group C at the VIR Gold Cup Historics last June. I have the logbooks on this car all the way back to 1975 when the car was purchased from an owner in the Bahamas and then got its first SCCA logbook. The person I bought it from in 2006 was the owner for 13 years. The car is highly developed and has an illustrious history. The motor is one of Rollin Butler's best and is by far the most FV power I've had. Only 3 weekends on this motor. The car is clean, safe, handles great. This car would be a terrific entry for someone who wants to join in on the growing vintage FV community. Lots of spares. I had no plans to sell this car until I found the Z10. You can call me or write anytime. Will accept a reasonable offer. I paid $10K and then put in the good motor. Remember - vintage FV is possibly the most cost effective class in vintage racing and the fields are strong in many places. You can buy a cheaper car but some folks underestimate the true cost of getting one ready - fuel cells and fire systems alone can add thousands. And then you have a runner, maybe not a winner. This car is a winner. John Gaither, Greensboro, NC: 336-816-8881 or .
